Hello Everyone
I was finally able to get my labs done through my PCP and just got the results.
I apologize in advance that they are probably jumbled and a mess to read, I don't know what order they should be in to make it easier for you gurus!
My Iron is in the toilet and I see some other things that dropped and would appreciate input in helping me tweak. I had stomach trouble with Tender Iron when I took it, I wish everything would just tank bad enough to get an infusion at this point.
The September 2011 results are on the left and the last results, from December 2010, are on the right.

Here is my current regimen:
Dry Vitamin A 25,000 IU twice a day,Sublingual B-1 100mg once a day,B-2 100mg once a day, Sublingual B-12 5,000 mcg once a day, Dry Vitamin D3 50,000 IU once a day T-Th-Sat-Sun and twice a day M-W-F, Dry Vitamin E 400 IU once a day, Folic Acid 5mg once a day, Dry Vitamin K1 1,000 mcg once a day, Multi-Vitamin (Trader Joe’s) two a day, Chelated Potassium Gluconate 99mg once a day, Primal Defense Ultra Probiotic twice a day, Proferrin ES Heme Iron Polypeptide 12mg once a day,UpCal D Calcium Citrate with D3 500 IU four times a day,Chelated Zinc Gluconate 50mg once a day

I'll look at this in more detail tonight but I've seen folks taking 3 Proferrin a day to help with iron levels.

My iron markers looked similar to yours.  My ferritin was actually at 20.  I was lucky enough to see a hematologist who's dealt w/ RnY'ers.  I told him the amount of iron I was taking and the trouble I was having because of it.

He quickly suggested Venofer iron infusions with no hesitation.  He stated that us by-pass folks just can't absorb it.  It was about the only time that I was happy to be lumped w/ RnY'ers.

So all that to say....Your numbers are sucky enough.  Just find the right hematologist.

I need to lose about 2 more pounds for a normal BMI .  I still seem to be slowly losing at over 2 yrs out...so may get there yet.

I know that I've felt like crap. I read so many messages here about how much energy people have and I'm thinking...Ok, I've lost 225 lbs, shouldn't I feel better??   I do feel better without pain and with so much more mobility but no energy at all. So many ideas in my head of things to do but when it comes down to it I end up napping instead!

Guess I'll start the hematologist hunt!  Thank-you and glad you found the right doc.  :-)

A ferritin level of 10 and sinking hemoglobin and hematicrit equal anemia. You need an iron infusion,
Finding a doc who agrees is gonna be your problem. Also, theres no PTH.

If that PTH is on the rise add more calcium.

If your vitamins A is high, reduce that to 1 capsule a day and retest in a few months if you can. If it's still high next labs, reduce to 1 capsule 3 times a week.
