Yes, get a passport.
You never know when someone romantic will want to whisk you off to an exotic locale.
I use mine for ALL travel. Gets me through the TSA lines more quickly. Supposedly, passports are harder to counterfeit so they don't inspect them quite as closely as drivers' licenses.
