To those I offended with my previous post, I apologize. I didn't mean to incite drama or hatefulness on the board. I know down the road I will need your help bc DS is not like any other WLS and it won'r be the easiest to get through. LIke I said previously I didn't mean to offend anyone or cause any mess.

Once again my apologies.

I have no idea what happened, but hey, drama resides here!   Hang in there.  I'm sure all will be well.

CT,

Kudos to you. It takes a big person to apologize, especially if said person doesn't particularly feel that they were in the wrong.

You will do fine here.  I believe that most of us just don't appreciate someone coming in the room and trying to regulate behavior, not here and not in real life.

We are a bunch of cranky *****es but are willing to help when necessary.

I don't know what happened, but good on you for apologizing and sticking it out instead of being stubborn and disappearing --- THAT will do you no good.

And, you're pretty!

There are two things you can control on an internet forum: what you choose to post, and how you react to what other people post. That's it.
I don't generally get involved in the drama - my choice. And the people who don't appeal to me, I choose to ignore. I rarely block anyone, and the person I recently blocked has since deactivated.
Good for you for staying here, and I hope you get your DS and make the most of it. And we'll be here to help if you need us.

You do know that you're on probation now for...I dunno...I think an hour or something.

Let's start over, back where I was pretty sure I liked you.

Hey - I did that once, years ago, as well.    I posted the "please play nice in the sandbox" kind of thing, and I got smacked right down.  I even left the forum for a while because I couldn't believe how much drama there was.   Now, I thrive on it, LOL.     Just kidding....but you learn to find your place in this pack of wolves.... we all do.   Even though I fall somewhere in the middle in the "mean DS'er" spectrum, I understand that there are people with different temperments and posting styles, and I've come to respect and like some of the snarkier ones enormously.   Hell, Ms. Calculator used to scare the crap out of me!

I used to think that people who dressed their dogs in silly costumes were slightly crazy and should be avoided.
