It took me a while before I was able to eat eggs, but my first solid food that stayed down was salmon sashimi. Soft seafood was my friend.

Scrambled eggs was my first. Then I think it was Wendys chili after that.

Oy....the first days after surgery.....I ate so little. I think the best thing that I found for my sensitive tummy was the Campbell's tomato soup in the "soup at hand" cups. I would warm it up, and then sip it for about an hour or so after microwaving it. The soup was so soothing and delicious, and the container kept it nice and warm for me during the long process of eating a meal.

I also LOVED going to the salad bar down the street from my hotel and I would get a tiny bit of green peas, hard boiled egg, ranch dressing and cheese. For some reason eating 2 tablespoons of that was like heaven. It makes me want to go to Soup Plantation right now

Good luck on your eating! I'm so excited for you!!!

Some of my first foods were cream of mushroom soup (not that exciting, baby food ham (YUCK!), scrambled eggs with cheese (YUM!), ricotta and cottage cheese with a little spaghetti sauce all mashed together (also yum!). The protein shakes satisified any sweet cravings, all I wanted was savory.

Scrambled eggs.  Peanut butter.  Bites of a banana.  I didn't eat these at the same time, but they were foods that I wanted to have.  Small portions too.  I couldn't fit much in.

Erroded lapband removed 12/28/09, stomach repaired, infected port cut out.

I think my first real food was protein mashed potatoes. I've never been a huge potato fan, but those were the best potatoes I've ever eaten. LOL.
