Jewels (Jules-Julie Townsend) update

Our dear sweet Julie Dell Townsend had exploratory surgery yesterday, is feeling better today (with the help of Morphine). LOL. They did find a very inflamed intestine, possible Divericulitis (Julie said she's not sure about this), and much adhesions. They removed the adhesions. She is on IV antibiotics, banana bags, and IV fluids at this time. She says she's starving! They just started her on clear liquids at noon, wasn't even allowed ice chips yesterday. Wants to get her protein in, so will be having a discussion with the Doc/nurses about this. Continue prayers, critter swinging, best wishes for her please!

Thanks for the update.  I didn't know she had had surgery.  I hope the results are successful.  I've been so worried about her.

I'm glad she's doing alright--but do you think you could remove her last name?  Probably not something she wants popping up in a search!  :)
