WTH??? Did anyone else get this?? It says they are deactivated, but still.....?

I had one similar to that a few weeks ago...I think it was a name other than Esther though. I just ignored it and it never happened again.

I didn't get it, but this happens from time to time, usually to a bunch of people at once. Report it first, then delete it. Do not respond.

It's just spam, happens regularly. Same as you'd get in email. Just report them and block them. That's one thing for which the mods make themselves useful.

How do you report it?

I got the same message, showed that it was from a deactivated member.  I just marked it as spam.

Spam. Delete.

At one point in my early days here, I received a pm from a guy with a Latin Lover-y sounding name who insisted I was stunningly beautiful just as I was, that "curves" were desirous on a woman.

(I had ONE curve: round)

I responded along the lines of:

Let's just cut to the chase, Antonio Banderas. Where do you want me to Western Union the money?

Never heard back.

There was a guy in the UK who had an uproarious blog with copies of his correspondence with one of those "We will pay you $1 million to help us transfer $5 million for the King of Siam." scams. He played with them like a cat with a mouse and it was hysterical.

Long detailed emails about his basement apartment and his cats...

oh my goodness, goodkel, I want to read that! Any idea what blog that is or where I can find a copy?
