Hello:

I had a car accident this last Saturday and my doctor prescribed a muscle relaxant for my back and neck pain. It is called CYCLOBENZAPRINE.  Are we OK to take this?  Also, i am going to have oral surgery soon and I will probably have to take antibiotic and pain killers, is there any that we should not be taking?

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks
Ruby

That's the generic form of flexeril it was OK for me as an Rny so as a DS patient I think you would be ok................Kenya

I think you're okay to take it, but that stuff sure knocks me on my ass!

What Julie said.

I took one yesterday to relieve an incessant muscle cramp and "napped" for four hours...or more.

When you take one, find a place to land.
