5 to 5.5 hours but that included prep and waking up so i am not sure how long just the surgery was or if everyone includes the time from prep to wake up. I was a virgin DS ... not sure on adhesions but there probably was some since i had previous abdominal surgery and a csection b4

Kristi,

I was a virgin DS so mine was about 2.5 hours with Dr. Stewart.  The surgeon I started with, Dr. Ganta, did it in 7-8 hours for a virgin.  That made me really uncomfortable so I switched to Dr. Stewart.  Not to say Dr. Ganta is not a good surgeon, I really liked him and his patients here love the work he did on them.  I just didn't want to be under that long if I could help it.  I think its going to depend on the experience of the surgeon as to how long it will take him.  What has your surgeon's office told you?  Definitely something you should call and ask!
