Good to see you! A few greasy chips shouldn't hurt. Ain't it great?

It is wonderful. I ate those chips and didnt torture myself about it. My relationship with food is so much healthier now that nothing is off limits! I find that I eat far less of the bad things and that I truly enjoy eating for what it is now :)

Hello All.  I think I'm ready to take the plunge and try to put in the effort to lose about 10 to 15 pounds to get myself in the normal BMI range.  I've pledged to give up all refined sugar for a month and stick with the Kayla 2:1 protein to carb rule.  Here's what manic monday looked like:

B-Protein Coffee
S- Deli ham and roast beef -about 2 servings
S-Couple handfuls of mixed nuts (that have enough almonds to keep me at 2:1)
L- 2/3 can of beanless chilli with lots of melted colby cheese
S- Handful of cherry tomatoes
S- about a cup of buttered popcorn puffs- temptation called.  I'll say no today.
D- Fage yogurt with S/F cherry jam and a few bites of beef stroganof

I've got my morning tender iron worked in.  Also, I'm so excited.  My bill came back from LabCorp for my huge annual lab draw.  Insurance covered it all except my deductible!  No arguing about pre-existing conditions.  I am making an appointment with a hemotologist to try to get iron infusions.  I'm really hopeful it may be covered!

I need to lose about 2 more pounds for a normal BMI .  I still seem to be slowly losing at over 2 yrs out...so may get there yet.

I'm back from hiding . . . well, not really hiding, but have had some health issues lately and that kind of messes with your mind.  But, I want to get back on track.  Last few days have been very lite, not eating enough because the fissure acted up (after the healing was going so well) and you just don't feel like eating.  Anyway, here was yesterday:

B1 - Dannon yogurt with benefiber mixed in.
B2 - Bowl of oatmeal made with lactaid milk and cinnamon.
L - 1/2 Turkey & cheese sandwich and about 3 cucumber slices with ranch dressing.
D - Rest of sandwich and cucumber.

All water in, but my vites are a work in progress as I'm trying  a new calcium (Solaray Hydroxyapatite) and am slowly building up and adjusting my bowel regimen (keeping things fluffy/mushy for now) as needed.

I'm curious to know how everyone gets their 30-35 grams of fiber in each day - I mean, do you depend a lot on supplements or more from your food intake?  Any suggestions would be great.
