Caught a bug at the Lab!

Well today is my 2 year anniversary and I wanted to write a glowing report with photos about my DS experience. That is going to have to wait. I went in for my 2 year labs nine days ago and waited nearly two hours in a very crowded waiting room. I know that is where I  had to have picked up this bug as I have been nowhere else. Within a day I started feeling off and have been sick with terrible diarrhea ever since. I am waiting on a call back from my Doctor to be seen today-I hope.
I have been eating plain white rice or banana when I can stomach it and drinking constantly. Hopefully I am not too dehydrated. What could this be?

There seems to be a "stomach flu" going around down here in southern california--luckily it lasts 1 or two days for most people. I hope it is fast for you.

 Gail,

Happy belated 2yr Surgiversary to you!  I hope you are felling better and will make it to Paclap's  SF group on Wednesday. I'll definitely be there if Chris drives in from Sacramento & possibly even if I have to go alone...

It's very unusual for an intestinal flu to last this long. Flagyl may be in your future.

Sadly, I am still not quite well. I am going in for lab cultures today. I have lost another 10 pounds since this started so "back to basics" does work for me. Hope I can make it on Wednesday.

Ugh, Gail. that just stinks. I hope that you feel better soon and that this is just a quick bug.
