Late one year surgiversary * fixed photos*
Hi all!
I am a little late to the surgiversary party but thought that I should do one anyway. I started out on my journey at 269 and wore a size 18/20. I am currently 142 and wear a 4/6. I feel wonderful! I have severe RA so having all of that weight off of my joints is such a blessing. I had an unexpected knee surgery which was difficult. I could not even imagine what it would have been like 130 pounds heavier! I am so thankful everyday that I have mobility! I love my DS!! I have very little food intolerances and eat very well. I want to thank all of the wonderful vets out there who stay around repeating themselves til they are blue in the face. Everything I know about the ds, labwork, vites and ds living came from them!
I used to be very outgoing and was a people pleaser. I now know that was a shield as I am much more quiet and really don't care what others think(other than my small circle of loved ones ;) ). I found that very interesting! Now on to photo whoring! I always loved that as a pre-op so I hope that this gives a pre-op hope out there too!
