OT - Batwings

Sky spins me a fantastic tale of a new friend who can fly through the air.

Me: Darn, Sky, I thought I was the only one who could do that.

Sky: You can do it Grandma because you have batwings.

Sky has long had a fascination with my batwings... I have long had a disdain for same and plan to do something about it.

Me: Sky, whatever will you do when I get rid of these batwings?

Sky: You will just grow some more.

Me: Nope, Sky. I don't want them. I'm going to get rid of them.

Sky: Well how the heck are you going to do that? Isn't it going to hurt?

Me: Yep. Probably going to hurt.

Sky: Then don't do it.

Me: I will eventually feel much better and my clothes will fit better.

Sky: No, Grandma don't do it, you look lumpy like this.

Me: But, Sky, I don't want to look lumpy.

Sky: Yes you do! That's what Grandmas look like!

That was adorable!  How old is Sky?   

My best boyfriend is 5 1/2 and just started kindergarden.

Equal parts awwwweee and SCREAMING NEUROSIS WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'M LUMPY!!

You always get it straight from kids huh?

But with such love and sincerity you can't get mad.

 So cute!  He loves you for you!!!!  Pure love!

He does indeed.  How irresistable!   He has adjusted and accepted a lot.   He did not wan't me to get surgery because he loved his "fluffy"   Grammo.  But he agrees that Grammo is a lot more fun now.

That is so cute!

And he's full of them!

I don't plan on *looking* like a grandma until I'm a *great* grandma. lol

When I want an honest opinion on my looks, I go to my kids, not my SO (who will tell me I'm Angelina Jolie only better no matter what).
