Dazzling eyes,

I wish the best for you, I honestly do.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

THE ONLY REASON I started this thread, was so that the gal on the revisions board would know that there was a choice.

Please stop picking fights.

Greenbaum is perfectly qualified for revisions, and I hope that he continues to do them.

I hope he does them WHEN APPROPRIATE.  Not every revision is appropriate for every case.

Making appropriate decisions like that is his highest priority. The DS-RNY revision is, unfortunately, not appropriate in every case. As much as I personally hate the idea of an ERNY, I can well imagine that there are times when it's the best option in the box, other than accepting the notion of living with obesity. Indeed, sometimes THAT is the only option in the box.

Right on.

He is indeed perfectly qualified, and if he sees a potential problem with a DS-RNY revision, I'm sure he considers it wise to say so.

I'd like to remind readers of the fact that surgeons do not make these decisions in vacuums, either. He has other people, like hospital muckety mucks and insurance people, breathing down his neck.

Nobody is spreading any misinformation here, so, new revision of his, please chill. He is highly respected here.
