Thank you! I will look for them, and if I can't find them locally, I will try to order online. I love cheese quesadillas for a quick, hot snack, but I know that I don't need the fully carbed tortillas, so I try not to have them too often.

Oh, do they taste good?

I would label today as  "success" as far as my personal goals go.  I took my vitamins, drank my water, got in my protein, and avoided all candy/cookies/cake/ice cream, etc.  BUT I did buy a box of Atkins protein bars to fill that sweet need.  It has 2 carbs and 19 g of protein.  The only problem is, I ate 3 of them!!  Ugh...between those 3 bars and the metamucil I took (oh...and the popcorn too)...tomorrow should be interesting to say the least.  Here is my daily bites:

B - 1 egg and 2 bacon
S - Cheese stick
Lunch - 10 chicken nuggets from Burger King
S - Atkins bar
D - 2 eggs and 4 bacon and another Atkins Bar
S - Popcorn and diet coke
S - Another stinking Atkins bar

Ok, it is 8 p.m....I'm going to try to avoid food for the rest of the night.  I didn't exercise...but I will make sure I do so tomorrow.

Ok...goodnight everyone!

Good job!

I stay far, far away from the Atkins bars! The price and the fact that they are so addictive keeps me from buying them. I have eaten the PB cups, but I ate basically the whole box in one day, so I swore them off. I'm not so sure that I buy into the whole net carb thing if I can't see it in black and white......

I worry about the popcorn too, ie my earlier post, but I do love it and could eat it every night for a snack, but I don't want bland popcorn. I want the real deal!!!!

All in all, you've done great today by my standards (which may be low compared to others).

I'm glad we've entered into this together and I hope you can support me along the way too, although you seem to have a better handle on things than I do.

Hello everyone. Trying to get back on track after almost a weeks worth of high carbing. But I must say, kilts and crowds make having evil gas much easier to hide from others.
Did manage to drop a couple of pounds despite the carbs due to all the manual labor.

B- Double protein shake with extra half & half
L- nauseous during lunch, but later ate a couple of small handfuls of Peanut M&M's/ trail mix leftovers that were hiding in my bag
S - Adkins peanut butter cups
D - ETA: *Skipped*
S - Piece of Julian Bread, toasted & slathered with spinach dip

Vites - on track
Exercites - will do at least 15 - 35 minutes of something.

Yesterday wasn't to bad but my tummy didn't want to much to eat.

60 protien shake
13 5 sausage
12 2eggs
25 chicken breast
20 Chuck Steak

Ok, then after that chuck steak it came right back up.. so I had about 8 crackers and then later on some salimi and cheese.

Worked out for about 1 1/2 hours  and got my new pill organizer so on track for vites.
