A couple questions on Iron, Probiotics and ADEK
No, the ADEK are just a base upon which you build.
I can't take ProBiotics either and that's easing in and suffering for about 60 days with each one I tried. Life was not livable by 3pm
Iron. I use Tender Iron and have gorgeous numbers. My insurance, for example, would not cover infusions if it was ever hooked to my WLS. BUt since I was amenic my entire life BEFORE WLS, they mighta covered it then. In any case, for us it was not an option, so we scrambled for the first coupla years to find an iron that was affordable, easy on the gut and actually worked, hence the Tender Iron. We do 300mg/day with vit C and both of us hold iron around 100, ferritin over 200. His H&H are better than mine, but that's a whole NOTHER story-not related to WLS in any way.
