It's amazing how many carbs are in cereal isn't it?

Thanks for the well wishes through Irene.

Praying for all of you in the path of Irene!

Gina, you know I'm new Postop, so really don't have scheduled meals yet, but here goes.

B-1 egg
S-Lori's protein shake (36g)
L-1 oz chicken salad
S-SF popsicle
D-20z ham
S-SF jello

Flds: 72 oz

Vites: 2 mulitvits, 3 calcium batches, RX meds done

I feel like I'm able to consume so much so early post op, especially with such a tiny tummy!  Is something wrong with me?

My  is Jewels.  Love her very much!

Honey, look at what your eating. In what universe is 1 egg considered a "lot" of food at one time?  :P   Or 1oz of chicken salad? Isn't that, like, a little medicine cup? There is nothing wrong with how much you're eating   :)

Storm, schmorm - we moved our deck chairs down to the bottom deck and tied some twine around our patio umbrella so it wouldn't be forced open by the wind. That's the full extent of our preparations for what is only going to be a tropical storm with 30-40mph winds by the time it reaches us.

In better news, I think my appetite has turned a bit of a corner. No more sickness at all (just that one time), and definitely less nausea in general. The bad news is that now I'm HARD-CORE craving grilled cheese sandwiches and macaroni and cheese, neither of which I will eat because I know the following gassiness will make me miserable  :(    I did buy some queso blanco the other day, though, so I think I'll try to do a sort of grilled cheese-esque thing with that instead of bread sometimes later today.

Anyway, here's how Friday shaped up for me:
- 4 deviled eggs (so, 2 whole eggs)
- Fage with tablespoon of "superfruit" spread mixed in
- friend's house for lunch: she made me a hamburger with cheese and bacon  :)   (no bun)
- cooked dinner at home! baked chicken thighs marinated in all-natural asiago garlic dressing with melted shredded parm cheese on top, 3-4 individual little baby brussels sprouts (couldn't stomach many of them, but they'd been sitting leftover in the fridge for maybe almost a week, so that could be why...)
- organic peach
- I also now drink organic whole milk when I take my pills at home, so maybe 1-1.5 cups total split up throughout the day.

Down to 180.5 on my scale as of this morning - get pregnant, and get back to my lowest weight, go figure  :P

I'm glad the morning sickness is giving you a break. If you make your grilled cheese sandwich with enough butter you shouldn't get too gassy...

nah, the carbs have been SUPER evil to me lately. I had a Wendy's jr. bacon cheeseburger with only half the bun (so including burger, bacon, cheese, and mayo), and I was gurgling and had sharp gas pains a couple hours later  :(   It's fine - I'd rather not get into the carb habit anyway, butter or not. And I sure don't keep bread in my house, and I'm for DARN sure not trying to go anywhere near a grocery store today! How was your venture out this morning?

Nothing in the meat section but 90/10 hamburger. Not happening. We were able to stock up on Greek yogurt and 1/2 & 1/2. I'm good now.

Eww, I'd pass on the 90/10, too. I shopped for meat at Whole Foods a couple months ago, trying to be all good and get organic/grass fed/whatever, but everything was so LEAN! Annoying.
