Stuff in the garden is starting to ripen, and I decided to use some of the ginormous jug-O-mayo I got at Costco.
I made some home made blue cheese dressing to dip stuff in, and it is beyond amazing! I refuse to eat anything ever again that is not drenched or dunked in this!
I'm pulling up stuff right and left out of the garden to dip in this. Super easy recipe:
Bleu Cheese Salad Dressing
1 cup crumbled blue cheese (I like a good Danish bleu, or Roquefort over something like Gorgonzola)
2 cups mayonnaise (I use Kirkland brand, with is exactly the same as Best Foods or Hellman's) If you make your mayo from scratch, you will not be able to even leave the house if there is any of this left uneaten.
1/4 cup vinegar
2 Tablespoons sugar (I use splenda, but with only 2 T for the whole batch, I wouldn't sweat it if I had to use sugar)
1/2 cup sour cream
1 clove garlic, minced
Mix it all up, and dip stuff in it, or put it on salad, or roll in it. It's that yummy.
Oh yeah, keep it in the fridge.

So, assuming I ever get to leave Omaha and come home, we are having lunch. At your house.
I've almost despaired of seeing our tiny little summer this year. Been gone since 4/22 and been in Omaha since 7/25! LOL

ROAD TRIP TO BEARMOM'S!
Oh wait, I'm ON a road trip.
Got our house back today, which means we can launch west ward in a day or so. With it being in the body shop an entire month, things are shifted a bit where they worked. Think we need to set that all back where we THINK things are.

What are you doing...stalking Warren Buffet?
Well, apparently. I went to Whole Foods to pay double what I should for some vites I do not sell, and my plain black tires were treading on the rarified air of Omaha, I think. Or so they tell me.
The neighborhood looks like the one where Bill Gates lives.
PayPal is here. It's THEM I'm stalking!
