 I'd like to also add, if you insist that the vets  must be full of **** when your NUT recommends that if you only get in 50 grams of protein a day and take a multi with added ADEK, that you're going to be just fine.   When you're not fine a year or two later, and you have to scrape your bones up off the floor every time you get out of a chair, don't come whining to me about it.

This is why I started that "Because I Said So" thread. I'm tired of people not listening to us and then whining about the problems that causes them.

Do as we say or STFU about it.

I think the standard response in these situations should be," Well that's what you signed up for." Then send them back to follow the advice that was originally given: get yourself to a vetted surgeon, stop eating carbs, whatever.

I'm tired of cleaning up after train wrecks, or having my heart ripped out by them, that these idiots could have avoided.

Whenever I give advice I never obligate anyone to take it but only consider it and do what is best for them considering all their options and all the information they have.

I think that when you pick a surgeon PARTIALLY based on his location and he up and moves for the umpteenth time in the past few years, something bad HAS happened.  Moving in and of itself is nothing life-threatening...but I know that when I end up in an ER, they can FIND my surgeon.

We can't say that about Husted.  Often.
