oh no no I dont think anyone ever did reply or make me feel like I was making things up ..not at all people were very helpful and cared alot for what was going on with me, I didnt mean that at all sorry if it sounded like that.
but I think when you are sick for such along time people tend to "think" omg enough already even if they dont say it out loud and I think that is a normal thing.
Many people asked me to get another doctor and omg we tried but no one would touch me because I already had a doctor.
It was not till I was on deaths door and really refuessed to leave the hospital without the tube!
It really scared Husted when I was not able to walk and with labs tests to back it up! He had no choice but to give me the tube.
So fighting for good care is a good thing.
I know you are just saying how YOU feel about whats going on and you have every right too people who like it will agree people who dont wont..and nonone is forced to read it.
I know you have worked hard to help alot of people and you should have nothing to feel quilty about.
like I said I just hope everything works out for everyone.

oh and PS it drives everyone in my life crazy that I play switzerland on almost every issue, its kinda my thing hehe

Dr.. Elariny was my DS surgeon and was the surgeon for a number of my friends - dozens in fact. In an emergency I know for a fact he has talked personally to variious individuals and their doctors, and even met them at Fairfax Inova ER to make sure their care was handled correctly.

Sometimes his office can be a bit caotic but he's a great surgeon (DS and otherwise). His office staff has stabilized nicely and they are very helpful. Curtis, Alex, and the others are always avaialble to answer questions, respond to emails, etc.

I tried to reach out to her a few times but soon realized what Diana and others have pointed out.

If you're considering Dr. Elariny for your DS, please don't let this or any other thread stop you. He's an exceptional surgeon, and has done hundreds (if not more) successful DS's.

If I ever needed elective surgery, he would be the first doctor I would call.

P.S. -- he's not paying me for saying this

Oh no you guys... this is really serious, I know what she has and I am so sad no one has reached out to help her for real...

She has FOMO...you may need to look it up it's a very serious and very complicated disorder, the numerous posts all point to it, I didn't realize it until I saw this post, but all signs point to it an extremely frightening condition... so sad...
