Will you be the one to die?
Thanks Kirmy. I go for my bloodwork tests for pre-op this week and I'll admit Stephanie's been weighing on my mind a lot. She was only 26 and I'm 42. Nothing is a sure thing and even a safe outpatient surgery can have risks. From what I understand Dr. Anthone is a vetted surgeon, so I think/hope/pray that my choice is a good one!
Thanks for your posts on here for us newbies!

OH! This SUCKS!
I was thinking maybe, possibly Kiry would come to the USA to be a private duty DS angel for each of us soon to be's! Then she couldvisit all the veterans in between!
Wouldn't that be great! She could bring her dogs too!
Thanks Kirmy for this post, all your previous posts, your humor, pictures and wisdom! You have a fan club here. Tell Kingy we wish her the best!

OMG, I had just posted a long great reply, and for some reason, it just posted one word.
Anyways...
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting this. Every lurker, pre-op, and/or newbie has been on eggshells because of this pass week's event with Stephanie. I've been contemplating my decision to have the DS. Wondering how life would be for my daughters if I was the one to die. I can't thank you enough for posting this and giving me reassurance that I'm making the right decision. If I had a million tongues I couldn't thank you enough.
Sincerely,
Nika

Nika be bold and be brave and never settle for any second best where your health is concerned. Check your surgeon out like you would a babysitter.. you wouldn't trust your kids with anyone off the street nor should you put your life into unvetted hands.
God luck getting to goal we'll be here to cheer you on!!!!
