How often do you weigh yourself?

Don't believe the hype. The scale will play emotional games with you and have you curled up on the floor sucking your thumb crying for your mother...

However I do step on it every few days, I like to live on the edge. lol Mostly out of curiosity. I know my DS will work, theres now ay around that but I'm curious about the ups and down. I like to see how my exercise and water intake effects how I'm doing. I do have a note on my scale that says it will self explode if I step on it lol It's a reminder that I'm not supposed to be on it and not to freak out if I dont like what it says. I've had days where it hasn't moved an inch and I've had days where I've actually went up a pound or two. I expect that to happen. I know that my period is about to be here so I can expect the scale to not be so friendly, but I'm dying to know how it's going to effect me now, so what do I do? Step on the scale like an idiot.

Honestly too I'm scared of EN. She's a scary woman. If I come on here and ***** about my scale issues she very well may show up at my front door and threaten to keep me from the pig candy.

once a week.  wednesdays mornings.  after 2 poops i hop on the scale.  done this from day one.
my mood gets ruined if i don't like the number that is displayed,  so i agreed with myself to only possibly get pissed off once a week.  lol

I don't even own a scale, seriously too depressing! I have no plans to buy one any time soon. I want to wow myself at the office weigh ins. (I reserve the right to change my plans any time after the surgery lol!)  Seriously though I want to wait until I can feel a loss until I go looking to the scale for confirmation.

Your hubby is right. You can weigh at the doctor's office or at the gym. The scale LIES and enslaves you. Divorce yourself from the damned thing now.

I am an every morning weigher but after seeing no results on the scale since 11 days out (I'm 28 today  ) I have decided to stop weighing as often.

My new plan is just to weigh every Wednesday morning. Hopefully the scale enjoys the break. I know I am going to enjoy not being so depressed and convinced that I am a failure every day!
