It is normal to be fearful... I think we are were. I know I wanted to run out of the waiting room before surgery. This is such an incredibly serious surgery and we all see what the outcome can be. That's why you need to be informed and comfortable with your surgeon and the decision in the end is yours and yours alone because we all know what the outcome "can" be.

Fear is normal hon. Remember that you have chosen a very experienced and trustworthy surgeon.

This really hits home for me as I had the DS at 26.  I can't imagine the hell she went through with the band and then having to revise so young.  And now this.

I can't say anything else or I'm going to break down.  Horrible.  Just horrible.

OMG. I'm so sorry to hear about Stephanie. This is truly sad. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
