Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

I had my choke chain removed and my DS done 8-11-10, so I'm just a year out. This, was one of the best days of my life...after my wedding day and the birth of my children!

2009 VSG - lost 110 lbs and stalled a year ago, DS done Aug 2 of this year to lose the next 100.

DS on 05/15/11

VSG Jan 2010 ~ Lost 60 lbs gained 56 lbs
DS May 2011 ~ Have lost 35 lbs, so far.

Romans 8:28 VSG 1/23/10 DS 5/15/11

VSG weight = 143 kg VSG low = 116 kg DS weight = 141.5

I got crap band in "01". I lost about 50# and have regaine all of it. I am in the process of trying to get it removed and revised to DS. Can not wait till this thing is out of me.

Crapband removal!! Now lost and maintaining round a 140lb loss!! DS is the best thing I ever did!!

Had a band in 2005 at 280lbs, had band removed and DS done on Jan 22nd 08 at 220lbs in Spain, now 135lbs and a size 4!! Happy as a Clam!!Dontcha love the DS? It's the best tool around!!
