I am also a revision from the verticle banded gastroplasty (Dr FOBI in 1985) and lived with it 25 years morphing into a soft foods diet. I did lose 130 pounds and kept off 100 tho they say I am in the 10% that kept off anything. It wasn't without a fight tho as I couldn't imagine gaining it all back!
