Well, when you find out what time it is, let me know, and it it's not like at 6 a.m., I'll see what I can do about coming down.

Don't worry, your egg rolls will be waiting for you once again.    I love 'em!

I think under different cir****tances, I'd be having the typical two week freak, but I am amazingly calm and focused... my only "issue" is getting things in order, taking Bella to the vet Tuesday, getting Alex' glasses, getting a pedicure - playing against the clock right now but if they called and said "get here tomorrow" I could leave those other things for later.

I have been getting ready for 4 years LOL... I even recently got my hair cut ABOVE shoulder length!  (It used to be at my rear)

I guess eager but not anxious :)

Gonna order some new jammies and hope like crazy they get here before the 25th lol - don't want to get a breeze iykwim :)

With all you've been through lately, it's all a matter of perspective, eh?   I was calm and ready too....never anxious.   Just eager and excited.   The only time I got nervous is when they rolled me into the OR.   They had not given me any pre-op meds, and I was completely aware of everything until they put me under.

Don't worry about jammies - just bring a pair of jammie bottoms.     Tops will only mess with your IV's.   Wear the gown on top, and bottoms below.   It will help with the bare bum syndrome, and enable you to walk the halls without any "chub rub" going down.   Make sure you bring a good pair of supportive slippers, cause you'll need them for all the walking your'e going to be doing.  Seriously, the more and the sooner you move post-op, the faster you'll heal.

If you call Netty, she can tell you what time the surgery is scheduled for.

She told my mine is scheduled for 12:30 when she scheduled my date. She said that the hospital ususally has you come in 1-2 hours before that & that they would call a few days before to tell me exactly when to arrive.

Saint Mary's will call you the day before your surgery to tell you the time.

Congratulations, Sherry! That day will be here before you know it! Here's hoping your surgery and recovery go as smoothly as they possibly can for you!

Warmest wishes,

Congrats!!! The two week wait is intense. They were the most unique two weeks of my entire life.
You're preop diet sounds so much better than ours. Dr. G gives you shakes and in only four flavors; strawberry, vanilla, banana, and chocolate. other than broth thats all we were allowed.
I would of killed for fake eggs and bacon lol
