I make mine with 1/2 & 1/2 and they do pretty well to keep me from snacking if I can stay busy. Just keep drinking them and pretty soon they'll start satisfying your hunger. Some folks drink 6 a day.

When I had a full-sized stomach pre-op, a shake wouldn't satisfy me, either! But you can stay low-carb without doing just shakes - focus on meats, cheeses, eggs, and non-starchy veggies primarily. And don't limit your fat intake; fat, even saturated, is NOT unhealthy if you're eating low in carbs because your body turns to fat for energy instead of the carbs.

double protein coffee
2 slices lebanon bologna
hard boiled egg  (wonder why i don't' get sick of eating these every day?)
sunflower seeds
corn nuts
beef jerky
shrimp
3 caramels
double protein coffee
2 cheesy scrambled eggs w/hot peppers
6 slices of bacon
gf muffin w/low sugar orange marmalade
double protein decaf coffee

vites:  all on target
fluids:  lower than normal 70 oz or so

Had bad storms during the night and it felt fallish this morning.

B: bacon (10), double protein shake (46)
S: peanut butter (7)
S: Swiss cheese (15)
S: double protein shake (46)
L/D: 1/2 WW thin bun, with turkey, cheese , avocado, tomato (12)
S: carbsmart fudge bar

Don't know what else I'll eat tonight. My routine was off today.

Vites and fluids on track.
Exercites: water exercises.

Got my vitamin labs back today and they looked good.

Glad to hear your labs look good. It's all that nice protein, following a vite schedule and getting some nice sunshine.

Any suggestions for me? I'm in the same boat as Shireen, more or less, and working hard not to let it het to me. I find myself f thinking about what I could cut back on or change around.

(((Gail))) I don't see a thing wrong with what you're doing. It's just going to take time and persistence. Don't give up, just keep walking, swimming and doing activities that keep you busy and moving.

Not a good food day for me.
I am 5 months out so primo weight loss mode. i did not do my DS justice today. Don't worry about being mad at me... I can take it, I am mad at me also.

Breakfast 8am
4 oz Rib eye steak (frozen at Albertsons right now $1). sauteed in butter
1 left over breaded fried prawn

Snack 10am
handfull vinegar and salt pork rinds

Lunch 1pm
Chicken and Cheese Quelsadilla (2/3 of it w/tb of sour cream and salsa
Sabra Snacks prezzle chips and Hummus to go

Snack 4pm
hand full of chocolate covered Jelly Bellies

Dinner 5pm
left over small piece beer battered fish
left over 3 breaded onion rings
ton of tartar sauce
left over 2 tbsp coleslaw
