Hating life right now- Did you have a revision at any of these sites?

My statement stands. Do any of the revision surgeons work out of any of those centers? There, question answered.

Again, you've been told a bunch of times which surgeons are known by this forum to do revisions. That doesn't change much if at all. So maybe it's time for you to search in a different way....Or work out financing for a revision with a known surgeon.

Dr. O'Malley does some DS, but I've never heard of him revising RNY to DS. Why not call ahead and ask, rather than wasting your time going there for nothing?
And as EN said, we've been over this ground before. RNY to DS surgeons are few and far between. You know who they are. Maybe if you make a bunch of phone calls and then report back to the powers that be that these centers (I have no idea who the docs are there) don't offer what you need, they will relent and let you see Dr. Kemmeter.

I would definitely call ahead, I would have to have approval first. I was just hoping for some recommendations among the centres. I emailed the woman at OHIP today as I have been through this in 2009 when I was approved to see Dr. Hares but he refused to do it for the specified price and she told me my referring doctor would have to chose a centre and not me. I don't think he'd do the leg work so I am trying to have some info for when I see him next. I checked out DSfacts.com but it doesn't state revisionists but who knows, maybe my innards are in order for just the intestinal aspect of the DS...

*sigh* So start making phone calls and quit asking questions that can't be answered here. This is old ground.

Feel free not to worry about me. Did you know Dr. Srikanh did revisions? I didn't.

Yes, I did. He has been known to do lap band to DS revisions. He is NOT known to do RNY to DS revisions.

Rest assured, I am not the slightest bit "worried" about you.

Dr. L. does not do RNY to DS revisions. J. has been told repeatedly to consult with Dr. L. since her situation is unclear. She hasn't done it in the however many years she's been asking these exact same questions.
