Amen, Sister! I feel like its procedure discrimination and I'm not standing for it. I'm waiting to hear back for the main insurance rep. in my HR dept. to see if I can get her help with this.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.
Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
Roger that, Shelli!You have to be prepared for all of the stumbling blocks on your path as the DS sits high above on a mountain top, or maybe in Fort Knox!
