I'm thinking I can just get the tag from LaurensHope and make my own chain/bracelet but with something that fancy would an EMT know to look for it, which is why I like the Road ID

That is a good thread. I don't agree that medial alert bracelets aren't looked at 99% of the time though. I'm sure training is different all over the country, and things are missed sometimes...but generally they notice the bracelets.
My concern is not so much about the first responders though. I'm more concerned about being in the ER and them not knowing. The chances of this are slim, and the chance that the new anatomy would make a difference is an even lower chance....but I think because I'm finishing up nursing school I'm paranoid (probably for no reason though lol).
