leg cramp update
Cramps are better, but I do not know which thing that I increased made them better. I don't really care as long as they never ever come back again ! I have not used a lot of extra sea salt, but have tried to add some here and there on some foods. Been very busy and not cooking much for a few days. Been sort of grab protein and go eating .
BTW, thanks for asking !

Does your PCP use e-mail? If so, I would send her a message calmly explaining how you felt about her not taking your leg cramps seriously. You deserve her attention. I've had the same PCP for over 15 years. We've definitely had our ups and downs, but I can be very direct with him, in person or via e-mail.

Donna,
Yes she does use email. I was thinking of emailing her. You can bet if they do not get better I will be bugging her. She really caught me off guard. The more I think about it I think she was having a rough day, NOT that it is a good excuse. I am so limited here. She does mostly what I ask of her as well, so gotta watch that as well. LOL
I always email her labs from DS doc etc, so she does not double drawn something.

When I start getting leg cramps I know that my potassium is tanking. I've been taking a pres potassium for a couple of years now. I'm lucky if I can get my up labs to 3.8 - that's my highest. Lowest 3.2. I think my presc is ktab-10. I don't take magnesium as it's always been ok. I do take calcium 6x/day. I also take my potassium in the middle of the night with my A, D, & E.
