Does any one have some insight as to why I am still so exhausted? I have been consistently getting vites in for 2 weeks, I have been upping my protein trying to get enough in, I sleep 7-8 hours per day, close to or above 64 oz of fluid... and today at my kids wic appt I asked the nutritionist to check my iron since she was checking the boys' and she said it was great 11.8.... So what's the deal!? Anyone?

How far out are you? I was totally exhausted for about 6-7 weeks. Also you're mildly anemic. Are you taking any iron yet?

I am 22 weeks out, and I actually felt great until about a month ago, maybe 6 weeks, I should add I just started antibiotics for UTI because of other symptoms (I tested pos at my June labs but didn't get antibios) I've NEVER had a UTI make me feel like this so I wasn't relating symptoms... I am taking 325mg elemental iron in the mornings, switching to polysaccharide in a few weeks when those are gone, I am on vitalady's plan right now...

You might want to have a few other iron markers checked. Iron serum by my lab's ranges are best around 80 or more, ferritin around 200 or more, hematocrit and hemoglobin figure in as well.

Ok... I have labs on the 1st and I am taking a list over the week before maybe even 2 to make sure... anything else you can think of to help?

Protein, B12 and D3 but you're already on Vitalady's plan. I guess time and patience, but do keep and eye on the iron markers.

Hi Gina and everyone,

Well, 26 more pounds to go and I sure don't feel very thin. I'm amazed because twice I got down on the floor to do something without thinking, then got right up without being helped or pried up. I guess many if my mobility problems were weight related and not age related.

I need somethingc that fits to wear for this job interview, and I'm a little nervous about shopping.



B: bacon, double protein shake

S: Swiss. Hesse

L: small piece of Brok's pizza

S: Swiss cheese

D: a shake and I'm not sure what else. Grilled a steak for DH, but not interested since I got sick after eating some th other night.

S: ???



Vites and fluids on track. Exercites: 30 minutes on the recumbent bike. 20 minutes swimming

Keep on keeping on, Gail.  It's all you can do. 
I've found I have to go to the little shops where I can get individualized help from the sales and fashion folks. I'm hopeless without them. I'll swing lizards for this interview. Let me know when.

9am Monday. I concluded that I wax one of the first ones called and that they're interviewing 6. Don't want to get my hopes up.....

I tried on stuff in my closet and started another new bag of too big clothes. I can still wear my 1x jeans capris as long as I roll the waist up 3 times. I'm also the queen of safety pins. . In this heat I tend to wear those or shorts around the house.

I've never felt the overwhelming feeling about shopping before. I always headed for the big girl stuff.
