I don't have anything to add other than you look fabulous, even if you are a skinny ***** and I'm sure your body will sort this out in the next few months.

My only question is are you perhaps doing too much cardio? I know you have a past history of being a compulsive exerciser which is why I'm asking. Perhaps for a while you should focus solely on your resistance work and just enjoy your post-DS life.
Bet you never imagined you would be worried about losing too much! Savor it!

Hello blossom.  I'm doing about 20mins of cardio three times a week and walking the dogs every second day (David does the others).  I have broken my obsession with eating and exercise which is amazing.  Now I do weights to try to get bigger rather than smaller which is a massive mind **** for me.

You're right I never believed I could get even remotely near goal let alone well below it.  This is a strange and interesting dream.

Stop worrying.  You will have a regain and you'll be glad you got a little under where you wanted to be because you will bounce back.

Add some healthy complex carbs CAREFULLY and stay off the scale.

Love you,

~Becky

Kirmy-Kirmette-

I may be insane here, and that's okay, but as a pre-op who's 5'7", I have 140 as a desirable personal goal in my head.  Do you think that's too low? I haven't discussed this with a surgeon yet, but in my mind even 155 would be more than I am comfortable with.  Of course, I'm saying this now as a pre-op and I might feel completely different when I actually start the DS ride.

I'm 5'7" too.  I have to say that I am much smaller/thinner now at 145 than I thought I would be.  It makes no sense!  I'm guessing that perhaps I have denser bones from carrying around all that excess weight for 15 years?

When I weighed 135 for half a minute in high school (16 years ago now!) I was a size 10 and very lean.  Now, I weigh 145 or so and I'm in a size 6 and can occasionally wear a 4!  I know sizes change over time, but I swear I was not this thin back then and my family and friends all agree.

Tassy-

I haven't weighed 145 since probably 1994, so I have no concept of what that would mean for me now especially as an adult because I was an adolescent then.  So, I really don't know what 140, or hell 150 is gonna look like on me.  I'd say I have some strong ass bones, though, for carrying my big butt around for years.  Size 6?! I think I'd done died and gone to Heaven.  I can't even imagine it, it's possible?! Ha!

I've got a bunch of pics on my profile if you want to see a full body shot of what I look like at 5'7" and about 145 pounds.

I checked out your pics and you look fabulous in the 140s and there was one pic. where you looked too small.  Sorry I called you Tassy! It's Tessy.  I'm usually better at those things, cause names and nicknames are important!

Remember my goal was 155, so those posted around that time (late summer of 2010 and into fall) I was more like 150 - 155.

Out of curiosity, which pic did you think looked too small?
