Recent post-ops: Eat what works!

I remember my first solid meal was one lusciously prepared sea scallop. Best damn scallop I ever ate and I was happy and satisfied. Even went to bed with a little smile on my face. The first months ya just have to 'go with it' I drank protein and water all day and had a tiny meal in the evening. (something mushy eaten from a ramekin with a baby spoon) That's what personally worked best for me.
I remember always being in a rush to 'get to the next stage' I did crave normalcy in my eating more than anything else. But as it's been said a million times before, it's a process. I spent a lot of time before surgery preparing for how eating and weight loss was going to be for the next couple of years. Unfortunately, I failed pre-op to really confront the healing process that was to happen for the next few months.
