I've been told not to drink or you will get really really sick. So I have never done it. Personally, I would not drink. Why risk it?

I like a glass of wine like the next person, but I have NOT at all wanted to risk feeling awful.  Having c-diff is bad enough, adding possible medicine side effects does not sound fun.   I would not chance it at all, but that is my personal opinion.

I took the risk and was fine. I had a gin and tonic and a beer and was completely fine. Not even a little nauseaous.

Glad you had no ill effects.  Perhaps dosage also has something to do with it.

I have drank (I had 1 drink) while taking Flagyl simply because I forgot about the interaction.

I got sleepy and a little nauseated.  But I pretty much always feel sleepy after drinking.  The nausea really wasn't too bad and it all passed within 30 minutes.

I wouldn't have done it if I had remembered.

Flagyl ALONE makes me sick as a dog!
