Hey GUys, so don;t read this post if whining is going to get you all riled up ok??

I am in the process of trying to lose about 10lbs of regain which has come on over a period of 2 months but most of it came on while I was in the Uk with family for 3 weeks
Anyway, as soon as I came home I lost about 3lbs, but this week I made a serious commitment to low carbing and working out. I have been to the gym 4 times, walked 2 miles round the lake and my low carb has been spot on and guess what went on scale this morning and I lose a grand total of 1 POUND!!!!!!!!!!!!  WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so pissed off now and don't feel like going to the gym at all.
I don't expect anyone to do anything for me, just wanted to put it out there that I am so fed up !! But any encouragement would be welcome to keep me going to lose the last 6lbs !!!

Thanks

You can do it!!!! Maybe you need to have a day of slightly higher carbs or something.. sometimes it seems that shakes things up a bit!

Hi Yorkie,

If anyone can do this you can.

I read all your posts and you are always so full of encouragement for everyone else because you know doing the right thing works. Just takes a little time.

Hey I give you credit for getting to the gym. That in itself is awesome. I hate the gym. LOL

So follow Yorkies advice, keep it up and it will happen. LOL

That is the beauty of the DS.

You can do it.

Go Yorkie Go!!!!!

Have a Steak......

OR maybe a thick juicy burger (no bun) extra cheese and bacon.

Hey, just tossing out ideas. LOL

I dont have any advice. I am the same way, I have to work so effing hard to loose a lb or two and other people say they drop weight low carbing and "going back to basics" Makes me mad because it seem so unfair! Just stay the course and it will come off (easier said than done) I feel you though...

Hey Jessie, You are so right, it does seem unfair! I was so pismorning I could have thrown the scale at the wall. Anyway, I got my whiny hiney to the gym anyway, Just gotta keep on keeping on I guess...
Thanks for the encouragement, it really helped!!

Hugs

I think our weight loss is less at this stage in the game because we have way less to lose.  At 200 plus lbs with a DS, dropping 10, 20 lbs in just a few weeks is normal, but at such a low weight, where just a few lbs changes your BMI, 1 lb is pretty good and normal.  Just hang in there and keep doing what you're doing and it will come off.  xo

 Yorkie,
I'm a newbie here, but thought I'd put it out there.  If your protein intake is good and you're working out at the gym 4X a week you will be putting on muscle.  Muscle weighs more that fat. You could have lost fat and gained muscle.  Maybe you should take some measurements to get a more accurate look at what's happening.  I'll bet you're getting smaller and stronger.
Hang in there! You can DO IT!!
