Any traveling hints or ideas?
I have traveled a lot post op and, like everyone has said here, have had no problems with packing and bringing my vitamins, protein powder and other protein supplements in my carry on. For the first 3 years post op, I traveled constantly for my job within the US, but I have also taken many, many trips out of the country post op and have not had issues with protein powders and vitamins (so far).
I also like the little prepacked tuna or chicken salad and crackers.
Recently, I have started taking the Ostrim Sport Turkey snack sticks as well. They are filling and travel well
(Although meat products may not be allowed for travel outside the country. Australia, for one, does not allow any meat products of any kind to be brought in).
One thing I found was that I really have to increase my water when traveling.
Best wishes and enjoy your trip!
