Howdy folks, I am four months out and have lost a total of 51pds since surgery. I am very happy and grateful.  I am "biting and writing"every single day since surgery to keep me on track.

Wows:
Had to donate a number of pieces of clothing because they are too big
I can now fit some of my old clothes that have been sitting in the closet for too long.
I am in "Twoterville". I havent seen "Twoterville" in about 5yrs.
I am able to walk better.
My BMI has gone from 68 to 55 (yaaaaay)
One of my BFF's (who is 65), told me yesterday that b4 i had this surgery, he was convinced he would outlive me and it made him sad.
Sex is easier...Yes, I said it...
I have energy to do some projects around the house
I started riding my igallop again.

Challenges
I made the mistake of followng my parents eating schedule when i went to see them.  This was not good - i did not eat enough.
I bought the wrong iron, and the wrong calcium
I have been reading lots of Dina's McBrides advice (and others on OH) about supplementation, and was particularly inspired by her article "when eating sucks" and last week I started Dr. Baltasar's regimen -- its tough getting all those vites in, AND the protein AND the liquids.

My current goals:
Keep my protein at no less than 90 - i will be bumping this up soon
Get 64oz of liquid in
Ride my igallop 5x per week
TAKE THOSE VITES

Peace and Love

Congratulations on ALL your wow's!!
I am pretty close to four months out. BMI 68 to 54 YAY!
Way to ROCK YOUR DS!!!
I'm not quite to TWOterville yet though.  I have 18 more pounds.  It's been 2 decades since I've seen a number anywhere close to that!

BTW,  Is  igallop a horse????

Thank you for the encouragement. Yup, the iGallop is a machine that simulates a horsey-type rocking motion. It is NOTHING like riding a horse, but due to limited mobility, it is good for me and gets me moving. I got it on craigslist - tee-hee.
