Top five things I'm doing after the weight is off

I'm sitting here at my kitchen table with my eyes full of tears.  A lot of stuff you all are talking about is stuff over the past year that I have come to take for granted.  This thread reminded me of how far I have come, and I am thankful to remember that.

You all will do all these things, and so much more.  And before you know it they will become your new "normal", too.

Thanks Joanne.  Reading all of these have made me tear up a bunch too.  It's not fair that we have to miss out on the simple pleasures of life.  I know that I can look to people like you for inspiration.

I hope your friend recovers quickly and that next week is better for you.

1. Take my children to the Puyallup Fair and be able to ride with them and no****ch from the sidelines.

2. Take kid's to the Great Wolf lodge and be able feel comfortable in a swimsuit.

3. Play soccer with my son.

4. Walk into any store and buy nice clothes, not just what will fit.

5. Have a man in my life.  I miss having someone to hold me.

Number 5 is truly just for me.  I have been divorced for eight years and tell everyone I that because I was hurt so bad during my divorce (I was destroyed in my divorce) that is why I don't date but truly it is because I am so uncomfortable with myself that I can't imagine being intimate with a man.

Can't wait to start my new life

Sweet list.  You'll get there, I'm sure of it.  I know we both will.

I too had the same dreams and most have come true.

1. Wrap a towel around my complete body (done)
2. Ride all the rides at six flags(done)
3. Shop at H &M (done)
4. Buy a good pair of jeans
5. Have the man of my dreams fine me!!!

I didn't have a bucket list per se, but I did dream a great deal about the things I wanted to do.     The physical freedom I now have is absolutely, without a doubt, the single-most significant gift the DS has given me.     I haven't been up on a horse yet - DH says I must, so we will soon.    In regard to the Manolo Blahnik's, I don't have a pair of those, but I buy myself a pair of shoes like these a month or so ago, and plan to wear them to my son's wedding next week:

Ah Julie, yay!  Big congrats to you and your son, that's so awesome!

How did you get a picture of them up on the screen?  Do you cut and paste?  I had a picture of my shoes, but I didn't know how to get it up.  I do have a link to them if you click on Manolo.

Just find an image, right click, hit "copy image" then go to your post, right click, and paste it.   Sometimes your browser will make you cut and paste it into a little box by hitting "control"+"v"

Great thread!

Here is mine: (I just have not gotten to these)
1. sky dive
2. fit into the wetsuit and swim with the manatees
3. have a 2 pack (perhaps a 6 pack may not occur so I will dream small. LOL)
4. get a great pair of jeans that fit
5. live long enough to torture my children when they have children.
6 THIS IS A BONUS! I want to climb the Spanish steps in Italy and not need a chair or oxygen to do it!

I am over 3 years out and these are the things that I still want to do. I have done many since getting to goal but there is plenty of life to live!!!!!
