Top five things I'm doing after the weight is off

1) Compete in a triathalon

2) Climb Mount Hood.  I gaze at that mountain darn near every day and daydream of the day I would be able to reach the summit.

3)  Compete in a MMA competition and be able to last more than a second before passing out from sheer exhaustion.

4) Sit in a chair with arms and NOT have to wedge myself between.  Or have the arms dig into my  thighs and sides.  Oooh and to be able to stand up from said chair and not have the chair come up off the ground because its stuck to my ass.

5)  To not have to dread taking my 7 year old daughter on her first trip ever to Disneyland because I wouldnt be able to go on any rides with her.  It would crush my heart to miss the look of joy I have no doubt she'd have.

6)  To not have to worry every single day about dropping dead of a massive heart attack the way my father did in 2005 and leave my daughter without her mother.

Sorry about getting kinda dark on #6, but its the one thing that weighs heaviest on my mind.

I would like to just comfortably wear a sleeveless sheath dress that is above my knees and not be embarassed about batwings hanging and flabby thighs. I dont ask much- I live in the desert and it's hot and I want to dress appropriately!

I am sure there is more but that one was a key motivator.

I guess I would also like to be as thin as my thin sister so she can't call me fat anymore. And she rudely has too often without any compassion!

I love it.  Very simple.  Sorry about your sister.  I can relate, I have a few relatives like that.

Play with my daughters without getting out of breath.

Shop at Lucky Brand store.

Climb in the bouncy house with my girls without fear that it'll deflate.

Ride a slide at the park with my daughters--and not get STUCK part way down.

Wear high heals again.

Sit at a restaurant booth and be able to sit withOUT having the table jammed into my tummy.

No longer fear seeing people I haven't seen in years--because I won't be embarrassed of how I look.

Wow, this is getting emotional for me.  It's not something I've thought a lot about lately. I once weighed over 260 and then lost 140 pounds--this was about 15 years ago.  Now, I look back and think, I just want to FEEL good again.  I just want to feel like a normal person again.  I just want to be the mom I know I can be and not be held back by a body that isn't cooperating.

Thanks for making me think....

I am terrified of running into people from high school. It doesn't help that we had to move back to my home town. I know how you feel and it's nice to know that I'm not the only one.

I also can't wait to conquer the dreaded restaurant booth!

Things I'm looking forwad to post-weightloss!

1. Wearing high heels that aren't as thick as sequoas.
2. Giving my back a break, and riding cowgirl!
3. Saying goodbye to Lane Bryant.
4. Taking care of myself, and my appearance again.
5. Gaining self-confidence.

Oh, and for towels, i've been using sheet towels for years. I'm not sure i'd give them up post-weight loss. They're grrrrr-eat!
