Almost got chucked out!

Today I attended a friends funeral.  She died of cancer but had been struggling with alcoholism and in many ways had gone long before today.  She left two daughters in there mid twenties also dysfunctional alcoholics.  They nearly didn't make it to the funeral as they were fall down drunk.  SIGH!

Anyway today I was approached by several annoyed people wanting to know who the hell I was and why I was there obviously thinking I was some weirdo funeral crasher......the rule of fight club is........... It was only when I opened my mouth and my broad Aussie accent spilled out that the penny dropped. I told them "I'm here for the free sausage rolls and tea" which provoked giggles and apologies.   No one could believe my size.  I can't!  So today out of sadness and resignation a small flower of self esteem flourished...and I got my sausage rolls.

RIP Mickie aka Happychick.  You will be missed deeply.

I will echo my condolences over the loss of your friend.
However, I hope you ate lots and lots of sausage rolls. I honestly worry about you sometimes. I think you best stop losing weight because your petite frame is going to explode one day under the extreme pressure of trying to hold in all that Kirmy personality.

I'm sure it was difficult to go to the funeral and I'm sorry about your friend.

But, it was priceless, I'm sure seeing those faces when they realized that they really did know the "NEW" you.  Keep that self-esteem going girl, you deserve all of it.
