OT: could i use clotted cream instead of cream cheese to make Mock Danish?

I love mock danish back from my low carb days, but i dont have cream cheese, but i do have clotted cream and unsweet coco powder, i am thinking maybe it would work? How is clotted cream at being warmed up? 


in case anyone doesnt know, mock danish is usually 1-2 eggs, couple tablespoons cream cheese mixed in, leave some cream cheese chunks in there so you get pockets of cheese, and splenda +cinnamon or whatever sweetner you want. You could use some raspberry preserves, whatever you want. It is yummo.

I haven't baked clotted cream before, but I think it liquifies at high temp, I'm not sure if you can bake with it. But you never know, give it a try! Who knows maybe it will work.
