multi question

Several of the nutrient sources (such as beta carotene, the D and certain of the amino acid chelates--I can't remember off the top of my head which ones are most problematic; some are worse than others) are not good for DSers. Also, if I compare the basic Centrum to this, bearing in mind that Centrum is labeled for a single tablet dose, I'm not terribly impressed with how "good" this two-pill dose product is.

I bet, too, that it is a LOT more expensive than my Kirkland version of Centrum Silver, so that I could take several of them and still come out way ahead both in price and in contents compared to the product you are considering.

The Centrum (not the Silver) nutritional label:

It's hard to beat the price, and content of Costcos Kirkland multi (many say Sams club as well, but we don't have one here, so I don't know what they actually have).

You'll have to tweak em with a few other things, but two of those a day are a really good base.

TY guys so much for the comparison.  i just thought taking  a prenatal would be good for the extra iron but you opened my eyes and I am just going to get the kirkland/ or sams club and an extra iron.  Works out to be more and cheaper.

No prenatal - ever. If you are pregnant, you are taking them for the doctor.

The A and D are useless, iron and calcium living together in the same pill?

you can take them if you want, but you'll also need real vitamins, as well.
