I'm so sorry the band is making it so difficult to eat anything without getting stuck :( And even worse it seems your docs aren't listening, gravy doesn't solve anything (although it can be tasty!).
Keep us posted on your DS revision and let us know if you have any questions on the DS or help picking a DS doc.
It does take some time for the stomach to recover after DS surgery, but after that it is amazing! I'm 7 months out and starting to really enjoy food once again after years of dieting.

I have a very small sleeve which means I space the pieces of my meals out.
Today I have had:
Breakfast - shaved ham warmed with melted pepper jack cheese.
Snack - plumb
Snack - pickle with cashews
Lunch - refried beans, melted hot pepper jack cheese, sour cream
snack - baby carrots
snack - fresh pineapple
Dinner - a thick honey glazed center cut pork chop that melted in my mouth. :)
Most likely - I will have some jerky on my evening walk, if the mercury will get below 100.

home-brewed iced tea with lemon and splenda
6 slices of bacon (gooooood bacon from the Ukranian butcher who smokes his own meat)
2 eggs over easy
vitamins!
lunch: (didn't really have lunch food around so I nibbled on this and that)
fage yogurt with cherry jam
protein shake
1 raw corn on the cob (I love it raw, what can I say?)
snack:
6 slices of american cheese
1 cup of fresh bing cherries
dinner:
2 beef & pork Holubsti (stuffed cabbage with meat for the non-Ukranians)
Tsvikly (beets and horseradish for the non-Ukranians)
A small river of white mushroom and porcini cream sauce (made with shrooms, shallots, LOTS OF BUTTER AND CREAM.. OMGOMG OMG OMG YUMMY)
Iced tea
