Here's how "backwoods" it is in Montana....

Isn't it great when medical professionals REALLY listen?

I don't know what I'm going to do when my doctor retires.  (maybe move to montana.....)

So glad you'll be getting the proper care.

Enjoy yourself out there!

OK, am I the only one wondering why you are on vacation, far from home, and the first thing you do is to get "maintenance" medical stuff done there?  Why isn't this something you did at home before you left?

I got the lab reports back just days before my departure and don't want to wait over two months to get this stuff done. Plus my family doc has to send infusion people to hematology or oncology, and the waits for this kind of thing are at least three months. I'm already feeling crappy, so I want to get this done sooner rather than later....Not to mention that three months from now puts me into the school semester and gives me ONE possible day per week, Friday, to do this stuff. The docs would be at the other side of the state from school. No way I could get there on a school day--over two hours one way.

And thus far I'm getting better response and more intelligent commentary/questions from the folks here than I ever get in NJ. Even my endocrinologist, who is a super savvy guy, fretted at me about the advisability of D injection/s since "it wasn't clinically low." *sigh*

Ah, I see!  I thought there was a hidden motive, like maybe taking a test drive with medical care before moving there!

LOL! That's a secondary motive indeed :-). But nope, the primary motive is I don't feel well enough to really enjoy God's Country as it should be, and I'm fervently hoping that getting this stuff on board quickly will help. That plus the complexities of overcrowded NJ medical care and highways make for high motivation.

Hey, can you read my additions to this thread from last night and comment/correct as needed? http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/DS/4402724/WORST-PRE-OP-CL ASS-EVER-Anyone-know-who-I-can-report-this/
