I am not sure what your beginning weight was but I do know that the higher the starting weight the more weight that will come off however the EWL % is what really counts.
For example I started at 410 lbs and My Ideal weight is 162 lbs. My excess weight was 248 Lbs.
Out of those 248 lbs I have lost approximately 86lbs. So my EWL% is 86/248 *100 = 34%
Someone who is a lighter weight when they had surgery can still have a 34% EWL but their lbs lost would not be 86, it would be less.
If someone starts at 300lbs and needs to get to 150, their excess weight is 150lbs. So if they lose 51lbs their EWL% would still be 34% just the same as mine :) ...
Hope all this makes sense, it is a lot of math! lol
