Going back home six years and 146 pounds later

 Dina - thank you for the compliments.   It did feel kind of wickedly good.     I've been of normal weight now for over four years, and I'm so accustomed to being thin and feeling comfortable about my appearance.     Everyone up here knows me as a thin person.   This experience kind of made me feel like I'd traveled backward in time - and even though it was a wonderful reminder of all the "wows" I've had since my WLS, it also brought back some of the old feelings of self-hatred and embarrassment about my former appearance.   

I am proud of you.... that is all I got through my tears right now... so proud~!
