Thank you for sharing that. I can identify with it. How many, "you have such great skin, doesn't she have great skin?" I know that after I look like what their standard of "hot" is once again, I'll just be met with veiled hostility **** em. You look awesome!

You look absolutely gorgeous in that dress, Julie. It's too bad those pretentious jerks couldn't see both your inner and outer beauty way back when. Tough luck, it's their loss. You look just amazing. I'd like a peek at those shoes too if you get a chance. LOL.

I love those shoes! I'm doin' OK aside from feeling like I got hit by a bus with a license plate that read "Paul".

hey girl this is the kind of story our dreams are made of! WOO HOO! I loved it! It sounds to me you were at your glory and who cares about thoughtless comments about the past- you are gorgeous now and they were jealous and put in their places! It's all relative and about perspective and you need not feel weird about it. You are your best self now and that is all tha matters.

Julie, first of all, you look absolutely stunning in that dress, I would have loved to see it with the shoes!

I can't add to whats already been said here, so many have pinpointed it.  I understand your hurt and wonder why they couldn't have appreciated you for who you were, no matter what, it's just the way our society is, especially that class of people.

I think it would have made a good scene for the House wifes of Michigan's elite!

Love and appreciate you very much for who you are and what you have to offer to others!

WOW girl! you rocked that dress!
I think I would feel EXACTLY the same about this as you.
as much as I cannot wait to get some of those responses,
it will be so hard for me not to throat punch someone that says
WOW you WERE so HUGE before! UMMMM NO **** beotttchhh!!!
I might just tell people straight out, "look you didn't talk to me this
much when I was fat, so shut ur stupid mouth!" lol
Anyways, I am so proud of you, you are such an inspiration to me
you don't even know. Congrats on this moment and here's hoping for
many many more for you. Hugs, Kerri~

The Middle classes and the nouveau rich tend to encapsulate the utter shallowness of our consumerist society.  After all who else can afford all the **** if not for that mob?  Add to the mix that skinny is status then you've got a heady mixture of exclusion if you're fat, a single mother on a single income.  I think you've probably just clicked as to what arses those folks are.

I'm sorry you had so many years of isolation by the ignorant fools but to be mocked for being the once fat girl is pathetic.  She was just as valid as you are now and it is this double standard that makes me want to run screaming through the streets.  Leave them to their limited lives and enjoy your fabulous existence helping those who know the value of friendship and not only that of money.

RIP Mickie aka Happychick.  You will be missed deeply.

Julie, you look totally fantastic in that dress.

Can't add anymore to the already said comments of your shallow acquaintances from your former life. Can't call them friends cause friends do not treat people the way you were treated.

Let it go, you are a better person than they will ever be and you, hopefully, held a mirror up to them to see what they had done.

Julie, you look amazing!  And agree with what everyone else said.

The "evil" part of me also wants to offer this... ya got to know, that you being smaller than some of those shallow sows - will have them trying to starve and "diet" to get smaller than you.  We all know how successful that can be, so let them play their mind games on themselves for a change.  *grin*    Karma baby, Karma :)
