Slow looser? Up and down? Trying to loose (or re-loose) that last 10?
I felt like I was a slow looser right after my surgery. It took me a while to get to my 1st goal wt. and never made it to my 2nd goal wt (115 lbs). I wish I would have now. People kept telling me, "you don't need to lose any more weight". I didn't quit b/c of what they said, I just felt like i was so tired of keeping under 50 carbs a day. It seemed like I was eating the same stuff all the time so I gradually started letting myself eat some carbs (big mistake).
Anyway, I have gained a little so I have cut back my carbs (mainly cut out my sweets), I've cut out the diet cokes (which wasn't many) and I have started drinking my water. I am impressed on how much getting my water in has helped. I don't do to well with that. I was doing good to get 1 bottle in a day (I know, that was bad). Seems as though focusing on getting in the water takes my focus off of eating just to be eating. This is my 5th day doing this and I've lost 3 lbs. I'm hoping it will continue to be this easy for me for the rest of the weight I want to lose (re-lose). Kinda doubt it though.
Also, I weigh everyday. I want to stay on top of things. Seems like weight creeps back on quicker than you realize it. Before I had my surgery I said that I would cut back once I got to a certain wt.(5 lbs was all I was going to go up). Well, I waited a little longer than I should have so I'm going to have to work a little harder for a while and then when I get back where I want to be I'm not going to let it happen again!

You might want to join the bites and vites thread if you haven't already. We have had some very very successful reagain loosers who did it by getting back to basics and they shared their journey on that thread.
I am posting on it every day and have promised myself that I will continue to try to loose these last 6 lbs until the end of July. If they are still here then I will have to reassess.
I'm still graphing and am learning that I NEVER loose two days in a row. And I never stay the same. Yesterday I was at 144.5 but today I was back up to 146. But if I look at my average weight for the first 5 days in June and compare it to my average weight for the last 5 days I have lost 2 lbs.
That is how specific I have to get to be able to SEE the loss.

Thanks Becky, I think I will. I've been popping in on the OH board when I'm over at my moms. I got rid of my home phone & haven't had internet access since. Every time I'm able to stop by her house (more now that school is out) I try to read a few threads. I've been inspired by some of the threads I've been reading. It's been a big help to me. I just wish I had more time to spend here.
Oh dear. Doing without internet is so hard. I did without for a month when I first moved last February and it was pure hell.
I'm thinking of going back to NC for a couple of months and not knowing what I will do about internet there is driving me crazy!! I have to figure that one out.
I need to stay close to OH to keep myself on track. Without it I would be so lost.
