Slow looser? Up and down? Trying to loose (or re-loose) that last 10?

I've been fussing around with these same 10 lbs for a very long time.  I would see an upswing on the scale, especially after a really good day of eating and get frustrated and use that as an excuse to eat badly.

So maybe maybe my graphing will help motivate me to stay with my plan long enough to actually see my goal number again.

Becky, I wish you could see the graph I have on my iPhone...it has hills and valleys in it all the way down but the thing is, it is consistently going down over the long term even if the day to day bumps up and down.

I wish I had thought to try graphing my loss the last 3 or 4 times I have tried to loose this same blasted 10 lbs and failed.  I think this time I will see my goal weight again since I am seeing progress over time.  I would love to see your iPhone graph!!!

I feel like a slow loser (in comparison to others who I see lose 100lbs in 3-4 months), but I know that I'm losing it in my own time. I'm just about 7 months out from surgery and 18lbs from my doctors goal, 28 from my personal goal. I'm also a daily weigher, June 1st I was 183, the 11th I was 178, today 179, but I'm sure once I kick the diet soda again I'll start dropping quicker, so tomorrow I give up all carbonated drinks again.

I hope your plan helps!  I never gave up my sodas completely but have only had about one small one a day since surgery.  I just found Fanta Free which I LUV.  No caffeine!!!

It's so hard when you r use to rapid weight loss. But, I'm glad u did the chart. It helps put things in perspective. I weigh everyday too. I tried not too, and ended up gaining. It keeps me in perspective about my eating.

I need to weigh daily too Taylor.  I gained 10 lbs by not weighing and I'm bound and determined to loose it.

I weigh every day too for the same reasons: it keeps me on track and the added benefit is I'm so in tune with my body it's amazing when just going by how I feel, I guess my weight before I actually weigh myself and I'm within 1 lb. Freaking amazing to me every time I do it. That said-I ate fruit yesterday... grapes, strawberries, fresh pineapple with cottage cheese---not once but TWICE. What a dumbass! Before I went to bed I weighed in at 147-but I knew it was gas. I woke up, had my morning poo and walla-weighed in at 141. Now that's 6 lbs of gas and crap. I know I woke myself up when a nasty fart wafted up, and hubby grumbled something about Ozium. *lol* Poor guy!  I'm going to go low carb and see if I don't drop back to 138 within the next day or so. I love playing the numbers game...it keeps me honest and teaches me about my body's habits.

I'm already at goal and am playing with maintenance. When I do see the scale go up past the 5 lbs I've allotted myself, all I do is cut back on carbs and boom!! I lose any regain within two days. It's amazing-and I'm early out yet, only 19 months out...ask me again in a few years when it really counts! *lol*
