My yummy steak rub invention

4 T. mixed Italian herbs (herbs of the Provence would be even better here)
2 T. granulated garlic
1 T. smoked sweet paprika
1/2 t. (that's a teaspoon, not a tablespoon) each ground ancho and chipotle chiles

This was enough rub for 4 filets, 4 sirloins and a pork loin of between two three pounds. YUM YUM.

Well break out the grill then! This would be just as good on chicken, too. Probably too strong for fish, except maybe for tuna or shark.
